incubus makes me suicidal because of how shitty they are, like i'm not even fucking joking or being melodramatic. every time i've listened to them i got this awful feeling in my chest and stomach that feels like an elephant sitting on top of me and taking a fat steamy shit that ricochets back onto my face. it makes it physically hurt to live and lasts for like 2-3 days after i hear it. if incubus starts playing in a store i just have to up and leave, even if i'm at the checkout. that's how bad it is.

Agreed that S.C.I.E.N.C.E. is their best album, it is incredibly unique and is a goat funk metal album. I was just pointing out that in my opinion those four songs are standout Incubus tracks despite being held back by other bad songs on Light Grenades. I actually think that Make Yourself is better than Morning View though

I just saw them perform, it was fucking great but the opening acts sucked (Envy and especially Tribvlation).
George came down to the audience at the end of the encore and we grabbed each other's hand while screaming "I WANT TO DREAM" at each other. I'm still shaky from that, it was extremely emotional.

Tribulation was pretty shit...but I was pretty impressed by Envy. Their sound was so cool imo. Yeah I had no idea what they were saying but I can look the lyrics up on the internet.
Deafheaven blew me away with how incredible their concert was. I've never been so emotionally involved in a show outside of Radiohead and Arcade Fire
Envy was incredibley moving for me as well in terms of a friend landscape.
