Note to save face: the Casting Crowns is on here because my Aunt/roommate listens to music on my pc when I'm at work. And she listens exclusively to contemporary gospel.
>>60179087
+Waylon/Willie, John Hurt
This is probably a stretch but have you heard of Ralph Stanley? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y38_y7zg8R0

I don't actually recognize anything on your chart besides Burzum but the general vibe makes me think you might like Narjahanam

My friend! Finally someone else who like the cherry icees. I think our taste in general is pretty contrary though.

>>60179293
>Burzum
>Plebian
The only pleb thing I see is doing an artists' collage instead of an album one. If you liked Burzum you might try October Falls - A Collapse of Faith
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZ9SEpzy0J4
>>60179318
Don't recognize anything on your collage.
>(fix that tag though)
Eh? I don't know what you're talking about. Do you have any neofolk recs along the lines of Nest and Wovenhand? I've bottomed out trying to find more.
>>60179358
thanks october falls seems cool
but, artist charts are the best and most patrician
>>60179358
check the one Panopticon album on your collage - you have the artist name as part of the album title
(the album's simply titled Roads to the North)
it's not a real problem though, it just bugs my obsession with perfect tags
>neofolk recs
check out Kinit Her - The Poet & the Blue Flower
and Current 93's Soft Black Stars
and maybe Księżyc - Księżyc
>>60179328
IS THAT bottom right album vaginal or am I just repressed
also what is that album
>>60179318
have you heard Justin vali

check out Brainbombs, No Trend, and maybe Babymetal
>>60179508
>artist name as part of the album title
OOOOOOH, right, sorry. I use Google Music and their automatic metadata is ... sketchy, at best. Thanks for the recs.
>>60179553
>earls of leicester
Bluegrass band, won the grammy for Best Bluegrass Album in 2015 with their debut eponymous album. Very similar in feel to Flatt and Scruggs, but with a more contemporary pace.
>>60179677
>>60179553
Forgot to add a yt link to a representative Earls track.
https://youtu.be/2IEoLL9lX6o
Can't find a studio version on yt, sorry.
>>60179606
yeeeeeeeah melt-banana is my favorite band
if you're ever in the mood for something like a less punk, more psych melt-banana you should listen to ex-girl they're incredible
I love no trend! and brainbombs are pretty good too but I have to be in the right mood they're pretty dark
are you a babymetal fan?
I'm not so into the jpop weird sing-chant vocals but the idea is fun
look there's a Korean knockoff! dressed as Nazis!
https://youtu.be/OBR8PQ-BUxU
>>60179677
contemporary pace meaning a bit slower and more "country" right? I'm not too familiar with bluegrass
>>60179736
>meaning a bit slower and more "country"
That's pretty much exactly right. Flatt and Scruggs blazed at breakneck speed, the Earls have a much more Tennessee-country twang around a complex bluegrass core.
>>60179755
>>60179707
oh yeah I didn't see the yt link
I think I prefer this slower stuff because it retains a lot of the complexity and the impressive sound but it's much easier to dance to if you get what I'm saying, it's easier for me to hook into and get taken for a ride
you'll have to excuse my weird metaphors I don't actually know anything about music so it's all I have
this is nice, do you have a couple of recs for like a "starter pack" on the contemporary stuff?
>>60179553
>also what is that album
I think it's just some colored water ripples, nothing sexual
FD is a pioneer in witch house music, if that's your thing.
>>60179911
I'm... not even sure what that is! but I like regular house music, is it just a spooky version?
>>60179827
On my phone now so can't get yt links sorry
The Steel drivers - Drinking Dark Whisky
Old Crow Medicine Show - Wagon Wheel
Sweet Sunny South - I'm Satisfied
Crooked Still - Oxford Town/Cumberland Gap
>>60179736
>I love no trend! and brainbombs are pretty good too but I have to be in the right mood they're pretty dark
No Trend is darker because it's believable though
not a babymetal fan i just reccd it based on your chart
Check out some grindcore, it may really extreme but MB is heavily influenced by it
>>60179971
hey that's ok, thanks!
next time we meet I'll have something interesting to talk about with you
>>60179947
It's not really house music, it's spooky EDM, often with female vocals, synths with lots of reverb, and trap/ambient influences
Here's some essential witch house:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7XJHiLSKKk
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAoBeVV-e8c (personal fav)
https://soundcloud.com/radostmoya/degff62ecwy4 (a bit heavier)
>>60180012
sure I like some grind but I think it's mostly too "metal" for me
I'm more of a pv, crust, fastcore etc kinda guy
I know it doesn't look it but I spent about 90% of my life listening to pretty much just punk
>>60180038
I gotta run to class but I'll give these a shot later love you bye
