This album and Coldplay in general are greater than they are generally thought to be. I mean they're nowhere near Radiohead and Chris Martin's lyrics are ok at best, but some of the emotional moments on Parachutes, AROBTTH and Viva La Vida are simple but beautiful, they have a raw emotional depth that comes out of nowhere
