i actually got into bossa nova through leão, very cool.
german lit is always fun. i'll add that to my reading list. i've been reading a lot of jewish-american (american in the continental sense) and thats been really heavy but really fulfilling as well.
try the thing on my chart orion rigel dommisse - what i want from you is sweet
Lately I've started getting back into reading, decided to go through some of the classics. I've almost finished reading The Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn, after that I'll probably read Wuthering Heights.

+ Kim Wilde
reading pinker's language instinct again for the first time since high school
it's not quite as awesome now that I have a way better understanding of language in general but it's still a great easy conversational read and he has some pretty nice ideas

electrelane - the power out
>>59670461
you dont wanna read wuthering heights. gothics are the WORST. give you no room to think for yourself. look 30-100 years up -- middlemarch or bleak house if you wanna stay in that era around

Forgot book... The Long Goodbye

>>59670383
Did you like that Mono album? would recommend to check out?
>>59670461
don't have much to say on most of those stuff, but this rush album is great
>>59670524
Paul Baribeau is so sweet
been wanting to check out Husker Du for a long time, where should I start?
>>59670660
How's that new Foals album? I wasn't too hot on Holy Fire but I like the first two albums
>>59671250
How's that King Khan & BBQ Show album? i love Invisible Girl so much
++Midori
I would be glad to get some recs!
>>59671287
not all you forgot tbh
>>59671483
Paul baribeau is damn adorable
if you like him check out matty pop chart and eric ayotte
with husker du it's gotta be zen arcade, their early punker stuff is great also but I imagine it'll be less to your taste, and their later stuff too is worth listening to but zen arcade is an obvious standout, and not just because it's a concept double album from the hardcore era
if you end up liking them also try the hated

I know most of the guys in the scene, when i was like 16 years old I was obsessive with the folk-punk scene (ghost mice, paul baribeau, spoonboy), still love those stuff
i will check out this Husker Du album, thank you!
>>59671483
Hell yes, Hymm to the immortal wind is GOAT
>>59671656
I once bought it at a show (not a mono show), and after i bought it my friend was like "it's the most boring album ever created" and then i replaced it with some weird Zs EP with 3 tracks
>>59671483
King Khan's first two albums are my favorite of theirs tbh. They have a lot more of that traditional rock and roll doo wop vibe
