Is this the most lirically/conceptually complex album ever?
Yeah
It's just pretentious wankery based on dreams.
Selling England by the Pound and Trespass are way more lyrically and conceptually complex, and those aren't even close to the top of the barrel.
No, I love Genesis, but no.

>Selling England by the Pound and Trespass are way more lyrically and conceptually complex
nah
I find the rhythmic algorithms pedantic along with the lyrical intonations downright childish. Surely Greegerber himself would not have sullied high pianic guitarometer vibration with such low amplitduinal garakeeian bass.
There is hope left in the quadromatic bass line though, a genuine ingenuity is found in the 84th synth repetition.
Dude what the fuck trespass fucking lyricall? I agree on Selling England by the Pound is awesome but Trespass is not awesome on the lyric side of the album.
Genesis is one of the worst 70's prog bands tbh (to be honest) fam
try listening to T2, now that's a real mans prog

Is this the most poseur post I've seen all day?

Yes.
Genesis are horribly underrated at every incarnation, save perhaps the Ray Wilson era.
