Anyways, I know that for whatever reason /mu/ goes crazy over vaporware, so I was wondering where I go from here, other good albums and stuff to check out. I actually had a similar thing happen recently. I've lurked /mu/ for a while, seen all of the meme's surrounding this album and whatnot but I'd never actually listened to it.
A song randomly showed up on my what to watch section on YT, thought fuck it and listened to the whole album and really liked it. I don't know what that says about me, but whatever.

its a word used to mock vaporwave that has no conceptual value and exists only to bandwagon and give off a look. My rule of thumb is usuallly stay away from any vaporwave with album covers with mirrored effects, marble busts (the exception being FS), and heavy use of post processing effects with purple and pink. Its kind of an odd thing to avoid something because of album covers but more often than not it works.
