1967 was already an amazing time for music but if Smile had been released on time then it would surely be the best year ever right?
maybe if you're a ROCKIST
It already is, but whatever

while I love the smile sessions it would have still been a "weird" album for the time with "some" radio pop songs on it
sgt pepper for the most part had pop songs on it
some smile sessions songs were almost going more strange and "abrasive" in terms of these howled group vocals and large horn sections
would have been amazing when complete but probably end up a "cult" "art" album
Can we all agree that one of the golden ages of music was from 2010 - 2012?

I never knew what comments like these were all about. I know /mu/ is your special little elitist club but reddit is not better nor worse than 4chan. There's some good discussions and there's a ton of shit and useless comments. Guess where you fit in.

i just like posting this pic of brian
I think it would've given Sgt Pepper a good run for it's money.
I guess we'll never know, and should just be thankful it was ever released to begin with, even if it isn't the album Brian originally envisioned, or heard inside his head.
