Post charts you've found or made. OC charts are encouraged. Just made this one
>>55102275
Bumping because why not
Didn't made this one , but it's the only accurate Pink Floyd chart I found on the internet , fucking plebs say listen to Dark Side of the moon then Piper next...
Someone should post the Avalanches flowchart
Not a flowchart, but I made a chart of albums that sound like HAIM's Days are Gone.
>>55105910
Okay, Whats the difference between Greed + Holy Money and Public Castration? Thought they were the exact same. Ive listened to neither so idk
Is there a chart like >>55105851 for getting into Noise?
>>55106776
Nice chart , I would only recommend adding solo albums , and Syd's - Opel , the 2010 compilation made by Gilmour is pretty nice for getting introduced to Syd Barret's music
>>55108001
By that I meant Nick Mason's solo works
>>55106951
Holy Money is a stranger version of Greed, for example Fool on Greed has just the piano whereas on HM there's more instrumentation. Public Castration is Holy Money and Greed with the heaviness turned up to 11
i think i will made one for "how to get into brian eno"
do you guys know if it already exist?
one for Death Grips
>charts supposedly for new people trying to get into a certain band or style they know little or nothing about
>doesn't include album names
>>55108983
because that would be total spoonfeeding.
>>55109025
If you didn't want to spoonfeed, why even make a chart at all?
tfw when your music tastes are so obscure you're never going to meet your what.cd ratio just by seeding
HIGHLY recommending AV Okubo, not in this chart yet but they are great
>>55109037
Out of my own amusement, to be frank. I couldn't really care less about trying to get folks to like my favorite artists
https://rateyourmusic.com/list/exdeath/recommendation_from_almost_nothing__the_game_/
how to get into music
>>55108286
Yep, here it is
but this one is really brief
>>55108925
>suggesting anyone should go from ExM to JD on first listen
>no live from death valley/singles
>Hella
u deserve a jpeg to the head
>>55109176
>You can only rate the first recommended release on the RYM auto recommendation list. This means that before rating some release, you will need to check if the release that you listened to rate, still is the first release in the auto recommendation list. If the first release there, is another one, you will need stop rating (or listening in the case you are still listening to) this release you were going to rate and listen this new one on the list to rate it.
does this shit not look convoluted as fuck to anyone else? i've read over it three times and i still can't figure out what it means
>>55106848
that's literally a screenshot of some site's recommendations. lazy anon
>>55109127
edgy
Been slowly building this one over the past few years. I'm pretty sure I've got everything covered at this point.
>>55105851
What do the colored dashed line groups represent?
>>55109280
notbad.jpg would have been my choices too, except maybe inverting discreet music and music for films
Just made one for The Young Gods. Recommended if you like Nine Inch Nails, Foetus, Skinny Puppy, Einstürzende Neubauten etc.

I might try to make one someday. In the meantime there's this; not all albums included are noisy, but the ones I've heard are good.
From the top of my head I'd say there are several "routes" for getting into noise — you can get there from ambient (say, Tim Hecker to Yellow Swans to harsh noise), from noise rock, from industrial (Throbbing Gristle can lead you there, or anything close to power electronics), from anything experimental including musique concrète...
>>55109280
Nice that you included Small Craft on a Milk Sea, I think it's underrated.
SUFJAN CHART
>>55109313
this. just listen to their albums in chronological order
>>55105851
I wish this board never happened.
>>55111245
Posting a shoegaze chart makes you wish /moo/ never happened?
Wut?
>>55111313
Figure it out, I don't have the time.
>>55111125
>>55111401
shut the fuck up
>>55111403
wtf
>>55111403
NotM is not primary andy. The whole album excluding rides vocals is performed by zach on Vdrums. Andy only handled the audio engineering side of things
Can someone do a chart for the David Byrne solo albums and Eno/St. Vincent Collabs?
Would Be eternally greatful.
I started this flowchart for Krautrock a while back but never finished it. I don't think it's very good either, needs more artist variety but obviously you can't include every good album in an entire genre.
Any ideas, or just scrap it?
>>55112082
Forgot chart.
>>55112143
Where do I start?
anyone have a blues or rhythm n blues chart?
>>55109127
then what's the point of posting the chart at all? if you really didn't care you would've made it for yourself or not have made it all
Anyone got that "alternative shoegaze/dream pop" chart from 2013?
can someone make a rec chart based off this album?
posting a better dg chart
>>55112729
Yeah, just listen to the other Gas albums. They're all the same thing anyway.
>>55112898
add album names
>>55112898
>JD
>experimental
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>>55112898
lol what a shit son
>>55108925
My "flow" was TMS>GP>JD, because I greatly prefer the production and electronic parts to the rapping or aggressive beats
>>55102275
Hella sucks
>>55113512
>>55113230
>>55112898
>>55111403
A death grips chart is completely pointless. There is no reason to not listen in chronological
>>55113372
