ITT: Albums that will be considered classics in a couple decades or so
>>54945191
ye
>>54945252
amazing album but not sure if important enough to be a classic
>>54945225
same to this
>>54945220
nah, inconsistent and shit production. Still great though
ITT: indie crap for teenagers
>>54945191

>>54945627
>>54945682
nice opinions no one cares
>>54945682
i haven't seen anyone call it a classic
>>54945191
>>54945225
>>54945252
I can't really see any of these as being "classics", not that they're bad albums or anything but the classic status is kind of defunct in the 21st century and any albums that did apply to usually had a large enough audience and critics to vouch for that title.
>>54945855
/mu/ classic
>>54945220
no
fun for sex though
>>54945908
>/mu/ classic
like that means anything
>>54945972
Does classic mean anything either?
>>54945662
Epic (^:
>>54945901
yes
We all hate it, but let's be honest. This generations classics actually had to have sales.
>>54946010
I can look it up on the dictionary can't I?
>>54946060
#REKT
>>54946043
Its funny cause we used to all love it
>>54946060
>Mad noisefag
>>54946252
wut????
>>54946155
Fuck it, I still love it. My favorite album of his.
i come from /bleep/ in peace
>>54946418
this
>>54946529
>been on /mu/ over a year now
>still don't know what happens in k-pop or bleep threads
I sure hope so
>>54946043
>we all hate it

>>54945893
I concur, Thotata FuFu Goofy
ITT: albums that will be almost completely forgotten in a couple decades or so
Like it or not, this'll go down as a classic
>>54946622
Good
It will look like I listened to a bunch rare collector albums. It will do wonders for my hipster cred.
>>54946582
>k-pop
fat balding manlets keep up with korean music for highschool girls with bad test, masturbate at least 6 times a day to pics posted in threads
>bleep
Lads
>>54946622
That's what people said at the time about the albums that are considered classics now though, have you ever read an old rolling stones review?
>>54946602
lol, not. it's just a rip-off of 80s synth-pop with jazz and ambient influence
>>54946894
thats what I thought for about a year. Then it clicked. So much more than that. This puts all of the 80s revivalists of the time (2009-2012) to shame. One of the most perfect albums I have heard. The song writing outshines the nostalgic production.
>>54946657
yup.
this as well
>>54946657
Almost nobody likes the death grips. It's terrible and barely even music. Never gonna happen.
Halcyon and Microcastle will be indeh classix
>>54946956
well, i somewhat agree. Suicide Demo for Kara Walker is a perfect example of that. don't get me wrong, i enjoyed this album, i just don't see it becoming a classic.
>>54947030
>almost nobody likes the death grips
either this is bait or you have a pinhole view of peoples opinion on death grips in general
>>54947030
Are you retarded?
>>54947057
>>54947070
>taking the bait
>>54947107
No to Kaputt but yes to velocity:design:comfort.
Literally nobody fucking knows who Sweet Trip is. Keep being an idealist. Also that album is overrated as fuck.
>>54947273
I meant no to Sweet Trip
>>54947057
>>54947070
I wasn't even trolling. The death grips are just fucking terrible. It's in to like them right now here, but in even 5 years people won't remember them beyond "drug fueled hobo makes noises"
>>54947457
>I don't like it so no one else actually likes it, they're delusional
Get over yourself
>>54947457
>The death grips
You almost got me, too
>>54947355
oh, good.
>>54947509
You'll see
>>54947509
>still taking the bait
>>54947107
>albums i do like vs albums i don't like
>>54947607
>taking my cleverly disguised post ironic bait
>>54946657
If any of their albums will go down as a classic it'll be TMS.
>>54947697
Yup. It's also the best produced album of all time.
>ITT: people post albums they like
It already is in some people's eyes. One of the albums that is for sure going to live on in the future.
>>54947875
We never said it was objective fact
>>54947697
That's too bad
>>54947875
Are we suppose to post albums we don't like?
>>54947273
>Literally nobody fucking knows who Sweet Trip is
So how's your first day on /mu/ going
>>54945252
>
not even their best album, or second
>>54949350
>caring abount what p4k thinks
>>54948021
Which album do you recommend then? I was gonna start listening to Death Grips with TMS.
>>54949350
Fuck off. Most would probably call this a classic already. But I guess they're all wrong because Pitchfork said so, right?
JD was great, but NotM will become the staple of a new genre.
>inb4 someone posts that Bowie song where he

>>54950342
>An average neo psychedelic album is going to be considered a classic but none of those other albums
don't think so, bud
>>54950869
>average
are you fucking deaf? lol
>>54949350
simply eric ;)
>>54950917
Obviously you are
>>54950945
There's nothing average about Lonerism and you are a stupid hater
It's the best album of 2012 for a reason and will be regarded as a classic and staple for neo psychedelia
>>54950980
lol
>>54950980
most of that album just sounds like outtakes from revolver, a classic album has to at least innovate or expand on an idea in some way
>>54950342
>it won't go anywhere because I don't like it
How does it feel to be a fucking atrocious poster?
>>54946657
This album will be like Hospice is now in about three years. And I actually liked it a decent amount. If you think this album will have much lasting power, you spend too much time on /mu/.
>>54947618
nah, albums a lot of people like vs albums people have already forgotten about
Obvious.
>>54949350
P4k's opinion means nothing, but even if you are using that it means nothing considering they gave it the third best album of the 2000's.
>>54945191
never even heard of this. never be a classic
>>54951986
because you, one person, haven't heard of it? most people hadn't heard of TVU&N at the time, not that these albums are in the same league, but still
>>54951986
Your hipster grandchildren will cream all over it
:^)
>>54952009
still I don't even know what TVU&N is
>>54952010
I'll Rue the day
