I'm looking for some nice chill beats like Nicolas Jaar or Jamie xx or something. Just something with kind of a dance feel, but not necessarily something that you'd hear in the clubs or whatever
Also be sure to stick around and give recs
Something like these?

Or do i daresay instrumental psychedelic synth
i'm looking for anything that sounds like the instrumentation on sufjan steven's latest. shit just digs into my ears and gets me insta-comfy.

Yeah these are pretty good. Not very new or exciting IMO (first one sounds a bit like a Burial ripoff), but they're good. I'll check out some more stuff by those artists

That style of hip hop that's kind of like funk and smooth jazz. Like Max Graef, and Flying Lotus.

Pink Moon by Nick Drake is the obvious answer here but you should also try pic related if you haven't. Quite a bit different but about the same instrumentation and comfy level
>>54851024
i've actually heard both albums. they are indeed comfy.
something about the production on carrie and lowell just gets my dick hard, though. it's like lush, cold and wet all at once.
John Talabot, DJ Koze
Jangly acoustic guitars and cold synthesizers.

Pizzicato Five
Flipper's Guitar
JRock that's well produced and isn't laden with a bunch of obnoxious synths
JPop that's kinda cutesy but at the same time with a modern vibe (besides Kyary)
Hip Hop that sounds good when it's a cloudy day and you're trying to have a drive around the city
i'm looking for flamenco guitar, lots of percussion, maybe clapping or castanets; similar to Milton Nascimento and/or pic related

Oh god anon you don't really want shit like that do you? I'm drowning in my own vomit.
I have no clue what to call it, I call it sounding like "surfy" or something, but something that sounds like King of the Beach Wavves and FIDLAR is what I'm lookin for
>>54851258
Blue Lines by Massive Attack is great cloudy day hip hop (I mean technically they're trip hop but Blue Lines sounds more close to hop hop IMO)
Jazz fusion with a gothy vibe and bass guitar through heavy amounts of chorus

Here's a link and a description I wrote a while back, my favourite album from 2013.
>A beautifully chilled out house album that is full of lush and cerebral unexpected moments. Mixes both minimalism and more "experimental" flashes in a way that is both calming and constantly interesting. It's strange how there are some parts of his songs that seem to sound bizarre and out of place, but gradually feel like they're intrinsic elements of why the tracks are so great. The vocal appearances are all unique and add a great element to each track, be it Ada's track Homesick with it's floaty chorus, the numerous great Marvin Gaye samples or the juxtaposition of Hildegard Knef's vocals from a bygone era on a contemporary beat. DJ Koze keeps the listener constantly on their toes but there's always a payoff, there's always moments in a song where it all just comes together in a beautiful way and you sit and think "god, this makes so much sense". Each track is distinct and infectious for its own reason. For such a long album (75 minutes or so) heavily influenced by minimal techno, it's refreshing how it never feels flat or drawn out. A truly beautiful album that may not be appreciated on its first listen, but has so much replay value. I highly recommend it to absolutely everyone, even if you're not a fan of house music. I really don't think this album gets enough love here.

basically I'd love anything like this, closest I've been able to find is Stephan Micus. If not exactly like this then just something long with wordless vocals.
