Anyone wanna recommend some albums where drums sound really fucking good? For me the drums on TBK took the spotlight on many of these tracks cause they sound so good.
Does not have to be experimental, or anything like that, although that is fine too. Just fucking great drumming and great sounding as well.
God-tier drums right here

listened to a low quality youtube clip, sounds pretty good. Got a mega link? It's fine if you don't, I can find it other ways.
Frequently posted, but dear god the drumming/drums on this

Check out Tony Williams's "Spring" album. He's a drummer that worked with Miles Davis, and he has a drum solo on there. Shit's absolute bollocks. Crazy good.

Not even b8ing. Anything recorded at sound city just sounds killer.
Also anything engineered by Steve Albini has killer drum sounds.
more /mu/core, but the drums on tracks like pachuco cadaver, when big joan sets up, Hair pie: Bake 2 and sugar 'n' spikes are amazing, plus frank's production is outstanding

Throughout the album maybe, but Hallelujah is still Liebezeit's best performance.

I wish he'd record high quality audio. He's very good,
I find the National has the best drums in mainstream indie music, if that floats your gay-ass-faggot boat.

This is great so far, thanks for the recommendation.
I'm taking a look into the others posted here as well.
If you like Zach Hill's drumming make sure to listen to Face Tat if you haven't done so already.

I really enjoy it though.

Yes, there's good drumming on this song, but other than this and Leaf House, they don't feature very heavily on the album. I'd say Here Comes the Indian or Hollinndagain for stand out Panda drumming. Feels, too.

One can enjoy a lo-fi album too, but that doesn't mean it SOUNDS good.
>>54639700
Face Tat is fantastic, I find it to be really underrated, and I actually really like his singing voice. Fans of Death Grips who haven't listened to this yet should really check it out
ep
