Are electronic sounds the music equivalent of CGI?
After a few years the sounds and technology age and become impossible to listen to?

I saw John Hopkins play earlier this year and really liked his set, same with Clark. Andy Stott has always been a favorite of mine though, check him out if you can.

I have a friend who put a sort of side project of Stott's, Millie & Andrea, higher on his 'Best of' list for last year so that might be worth a check.

if idm were to exist, they already invented it 20 years ago. you literally can't be innovative if you just keep doing the same old thing for 20 years

Probably SOPHIE and PC Music, they're a London based Producer and London based label respectively, check out 'Lemonade' by SOPHIE and 'Had 1 (Club Mix)' By PC Music (Via A.G Cook)

Holly Herndon's new album, Platfroms I think it's called, should also be good too, check her out:

Its an idiots guide because retards don't realise electronic music covers everything from Musique Conctrete to Industrial, hip hop to speedcore and is the dumbest, hugest umbrella term since ''classical''.
>>
Producer here, the only recent stuff which caused some controversy on forums like Gearslutz as far as i know were Justice - Cross, and Skrillex - Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites

I also cant remember everything else what was interesting in terms of sound design since then.
