I saw him live last year and it was great, but I think his best stuff really ended with his 2012 releases. Everything after that sounds really basic in comparison.

am i the only one who really, really enjoyed Laid Out? On par with Bad Vibes, both of which are some of my favorites from this decade.
"Don't Say No (feat. How to Dress Well)" is such a fucking performance, one of those rare songs that is sexy but not overtly so, able to be listened to in so many environments, from the bedroom with the love of your life to the basement all alone. Catchy and layered but not to the point of inducing headaches. Minimal where it counts. Shit like that just doesn't come out often enough, not since The Weeknd's "House of Balloons" or Frank Ocean's "Nostalgia, Ultra".
And then there's "Later". That weird vocal effect elevates what would be a catchy but normally guilty pleasure trap beat into one of the most memorable electronic songs I've heard in some time. Sort of like the second half of "Runaway" by Kanye West, somehow the oversaturation of the vocals actually works to its advantage, and brings out the emotions rather than shuts them in.
Oh well, those are only two songs out of a full EP and I must admit the other three didn't nearly match up.
About to listen to the new album for the first time and excited as fuck.

yah, wasn't feeling No More much anyways. Bo Peep is a good song but overall much less than i wouldve expected from a Shlohmo collaboration with an R&B singer, especially after "Don't Say No"
