Hey friends, last thread was a pretty great success saw lots of opinions on things instead of the usual just "recs" hopefully it'll be even better second time round. Will be around for quite some time so I'll be listenin to all of ya'll until bed!

Heya OP here

That's pretty rad that you keep this all acoustic, really interesting and unique stuff I thoroughly enjoyed this I haven't heard anything sound like this from a bandcamp thread man, brilliant.
>>54193430
I see you're a fan of long titles! Woah the first track, not sure how to describe it but it reminds me of a folky Pink Floyd. The production and overall feel of the song is great man. It did drag on a little tiny bit in some cases but rad song nonetheless man, lovely textures.
>>54193440
Quite coincidental that you and the previous poster come from the same place and make somewhat the same style of music. I quite enjoyed Paralyzed/Underwater, the effects your working with are brilliant. I did like the sudden change in the middle, I think you may have just joined two songs together and made it out to be one song haha Radiohead did that with paranoid android but I think it was three songs? Nonetheless I love your guitar work man it's wonderful. Keep it up broski!

Damn you put this out quickly, two albums in 3 months not bad. Same great dark surf vibes, been a fan since Dainty was 2 songs long. Best opener I've heard in ages.

Lovely looking tape, reminds me of Symphony of the Night and Yoshitaka Amano's Vampire Hunter D stuff. Might pick it up at the end of the month man. Telecapathia sounds like an evil Crystal Castles
>>54193393
Sounds like early Patrick Wolf, spooky forest music for murder cults. Get those pictures up I want to see the physical release!! Also why he heck is some of the text black when the background is black too?

hey man, great stuff. the production is incredible and the songs really have a certain dark video game vice, i dont know how to call it. like a twisted death metal snes game, haha.
oh and i really like the artwork. its perfect for your EP. the only thing that (kinda) bugs me is that the tracks are a bit too long for my taste. but thats just me. anyway, great work man.

My guess is most people in here won't like it because it's too "moody" and the vaporwave track is too obnoxious, but I'm fucking proud of what I've done.
>>54194119
Something about your music is finally getting to me. At first I couldn't quite *get* it, but now that I've listened to it enough times, I think it all makes sense. I love it!
>>54194474
I'm listening to this right now, and it's ambitious as fuck! The Drake loop works the way you let it fade in and out. The synths are nice, the beats are beautiful, and to be honest the entire thing reminds me of the Avalanches in a sense. Consider me a fan!
>>54194474
xXMacSquadXx here, thanks dude! B) Apparently video game vibes is what a lot of people get from my EP haha I like it! I guess the long songs come from the fact that I play in a post-rock band and I try to translate those sort of build-ups and song structures into electronic music.

yeah man, i see where that comes from but for me (playing in an indie pop band and doing catchy dreampop tracks) its kinda hard to maintain attention the whole time if you know what i mean
>>54194420
You guys could use some better production, but I'd love to see you live, really digging the songs/minimalistic approach

>>54194253
Thanks man, I know I'm such a pleb for singing about 4chan ): So keen to record my next EP though later this month it'll probably only be a 5 track cause I've just started university and won't be havin as much free time now unfortunately. Anyways thanks man I appreciate the kinds words! I assume this is Vanishes?
>>54194330
I think I gave you feedback in the last thread? I really like your stuff anyway man. It's groovy and hella atmospheric and has lots of variety too and the production is magnificent! Fucking love the synths in Beta II
>>54194366
Not entirely my thing but I could see other people diggin' this!
>>54194420
Screamo without the instrumental being metal? WHAAAT?! This was interesting to listen too though, the guitar work and instrumentation is rad, not entirely big fan of the vocals but that's cause I'm a betafaggot but I was still impressed by them
>>54194474
Ey Ryan you know how I feel about your music, (that it's fucking fantastic)
>>54194485
Lovely folky tunes man, respect to you for doing everything yourself man. I would definitely pay for this but I'm so tight on money right now I'm actually using some of my bandcamp funds for transport so for now I'll download it and slap it on my ipod. Good job man
>>54194514
Vaporwave man, not even once. I really liked the second track! Be fucking proud of what you done man! It's pretty good, I thoroughly enjoyed the second track your use of samples was really impressive, I can't believe there's some led zeppelin drums in there? I'm actually really impressed man. Well fucking done.
>>54194592
>Vaporwave man, not even once
if there's anything I learned from recording, ironic vaporwave is still vaporwave. I made it for a friend of mine who is super into that stuff anyhow.

New stuff to me:
>>54193430
I like this. Reminds me some of Talk Talk meets GY!BE or something. The way the guitars drone on in some instances is really cool. It's also produced well. Might be a little repetitive for me though in some respects.
>>54194584
I see you're into typing your URLs out stubbornly everytime like I do. Anyway, I'm pretty sure I listened to this a long time ago. I enjoy the instrumentation and the way all that sounds, the sax and the accordion keep it really interesting. Somehow I both like and dislike the over-emphasized tone in your voice, I thought it was a little much but the more I listen to it the more it grows on me. Pretty unique stuff.

Paralyzed/Underwater is a nice track, with some interesting transitions. I think the song would have benefitted without the silent pause near the middle, if you put some ambience to ease that transition to the next part it would become so much more effective.

Look, Xi Jinping go sake, you're kaze. Not even a Kami, still they perform the same Kamikaze, why calling it differently? Go wanna go Kami-sake against God?
I won't allow you to handle numbers, I handle my own numbers. Yeah all horribly, so still I sold the World long ago.
