Balmorhea constellations
Steve Roden - Forms of Paper
>>52563542
Get rid of Celer and Ingram for Arvo Part's Tabula Rasa and John Adams' Harmonielehre.
Young Marble Giants.
Probably the first classical release I enjoyed.
>>52563542
>i dont think self titled would count as minimalism
what
>>52563951
its more of an ambient/modern classical sound
what elements of minimalism do you hear in it?
>>52563944
Yeah I think this really well represents the other side of minimalism to the Steve Reichs of the world
>>52563944
>>52564021
Oh come on, if you're going to do Philip Glass do Music in Twelve Parts.
>>52564121
Music in Twelve Parts was exceptional and it was clear he was at the top of his game but Koyaanisqatsi makes the argument (figuratively speaking) for the grandiose better and more precisely.
MiTP is pretty essential though not gunna lie, still one of the best live experiences I've had in music.

MITP is his masterwork. There is no argument here.
It is the culmination of his Minimalist style, his most cohesive, and most interesting work. MUCH better than a fking soundtrack.
>>52564566
>Frederic Rzewski - The People United Will Never Be Defeated!
That's not a Minimalist piece wtf? Have you never heard of a Theme and Variation?
A lot of Kraftwerk albums.
Since OP is a faggot who left, I'll try and work on this.
What I have here
I put in Turtle Dreams but I'm a personal fan of Monk's "Atlas."
>>52564686
Rzewski - 'Coming Together' then
Last one's kind of a joke pick but I think this is a good chart.
