I've listened to their first two albums but I guess shields wasn't on the second one. They're actually pretty good. Their second album in particular had some pretty weird stuff on it. It's like, the most whimsical noise pop album.

I don't actually know anything about that band, but it reminds me of how The Jesus and Many Chain were accused of not tuning their guitars. Also I'm pretty sure their bassist only used like 2 strings. Also they just really liked appearing apathetic. If there's any shoegaze-related band that's like seriously edgy, it's the JAMC.
