Digging this. I do think the vocals could be mixed a little bit better at some parts, also some of these ideas could be fleshed out a little more. Overall I think it is unique though.

This new single called "Worth It" has some Toronto vibes, over "trappier" production than what I've previously done.

Ayyyyy, this was a comfy album man. I liked how eclectic the ambient textures and sounds you used were on here and you have a good eye for melodies.
I also appreciated the length of it overall since I tend to find a lot of bedroom pop albums like that are far too long and the sounds they used begin to sound stale after a while. But the length worked in its favor and you ended up with a really nice tight album because of it.

The only thing that bugged me is that No Colour sounded way too close to Radiohead - Weird Fishes but otherwise, yeah that was pretty good.
8/10 for me

Here's a 14 minute EP I recorded from the end of December to the first week of February. There's liner notes under the info section for each track, I would suggest reading those if you're interested my goals with the tracks, or if I used any samples in them, etc. The intro track isn't noise at all, but please don't listen to this EP unless if you're a fan I noise.

I usually use ambient/drone tracks as a way to make my album flow more, to put some space between the tracks so it doesn't become boring. My albums don't fully consist out of ambient/drone tracks, cause those aren't really the genres i specifically focus on, but I do think they're necessary.

asbestos here, finally getting to here because i was busy for the last 2 hours or so. Before I start, that cover art is legitimately some of the best I've seen on bandcamp before. Who designed that? I fucking love it.

1st track:

0:05 - Really love the beginning of this. Those little guitar notes kinda remind of the opening to I Found the F by Broadcast, which is kinda interesting

0:45 - Liking the texture you have going on here. Are you still playing guitar in this part? It kinda sounds like it.

2:25 - Holy shit I'm loving this, that high frequency sound is great, and all that distortion that's getting thrown on is amazing. Also that voice added with the distorted vocals are cool.

4:00 - Are you starting to incorporate those guitar notes from the beginning of the track? I randomly noticed that and I thought that was it. Either way, I like it.

5:10 - By this point I'm just wondering if you have a transcription of what you're saying? Sounds interesting as fuck.

7:50 - For some reason that little texture you added that is hidden in the background sounds like a wave.

8:40 - I love that tone you added during this part.

9:25 - I like how by this part it's getting absolutely crazier than how it already was before. The synth you added also was pretty subtle at first, but then once I noticed it, it was nice.

11:20 - Distorted hihats? Pretty subtle. Also, I like that kinda high pitched droning guitar that you brought to the front of the mix, sounds great.

12:50 - Love the distorted high frequency texture that starts up around this part, added some great variety to the track. It's also cool how you keep flipping back and forth from the high frequency texture back to the distorted guitar (except now it's more subtle). Good job on that!

14:30 - that bassy, low, distorted texture you added in this section is just gorgeous. By this point the subtle high pitched droning guitar is kinda sounding like a violin, I like that.

(cont.)
>>
>>62547221
16:10 - That scratching sound in the background is so subtle but yet so nice.

17:05 - the high pitched frequency being dropped from the mix at this part was a little too noticeable. probably the only negative thing I've noticed about this so far

18:05 - I like how at this point the songs just kinda falling apart, the opposite of the beginning of the track.

19:00 - I was predicting to myself that you were gonna end the track like you began it with the little ambient section, and you did. needless to say, I enjoyed that.

Overall I thought it was a good track, there were a few minor errors regarding mixing but other than that, this was sick. I'll do a review of the 2nd and 3rd tracks in a bit as well.
>>
>>62547428

Track 2:

0:01 - well fucking shit. that noise just keeps on spinning round and round and it makes me feel like i'm in a whirlpool. those voices in the background sound like wind and they're pretty crazy.

4:00 - any real development in this track orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr? I like the reallllllly distorted guitar (maybe it's not guitar but it sounds like it could) in the background but that main texture in the background is kinda boring at this point

5:20 - I swear you added beats in the background that uses a distorted beat as a hihat. i like it.

overall... that track was ok. the ending of it was really good and I wish there was more development like that throughout the entire song, but still it was decent.

3rd track:

0:13 - loving this texture. sounds like a mix of loud distorted guitar with high frequency bleeps. like i said, loving it.

1:05 - that little phaser thing you added sounds cool. the little blast noises going in the background cool.

2:00 - Good development around this part, assuming that's some guitar. Pretty nice. Once again I'm hearing some distorted bleeps in the background and they sound great.

2:50 - Holy fuck that high frequency sound scared me. I fucking love it!

3:30 - Now the little guitar thing sounds more like a synth. Kind of reminds me of Suicide Deluxe by Dreamcrusher and his style of synths.

4:40 - That noise you added in the background sounds like a combination of screaming, saxophone playing, and distorted guitar. interesting.

7:00 - I'm getting lazy at this point so i'll give you my final thoughts at the end of the track

Finally finished the track. Overall I liked the development that you created throughout it, and I loved many of the textures you put on it. Still think the first track is my favorite though.

For the entire album you put together, I would have to see in short, the first track was amazing, second track ok, and the third one was pretty good. out of ten, i would rate it a 7.5/10
