i'd suggest playing around with synth modules a bit more. i can tell what you're trying to do, but it's not working in your favor so well given that you've got the stock FL guitar sound and sytrus patches happening here. they don't necessarily work well together, so i strongly encourage programming your own patches in a VST that's easier to work with and making your own ensemble.

by sound design, i mean the initial bell-type synth patch, which sounds like it was a preset from sytrus. your drum programming isn't bad, but it'd really take it up a notch if you played with the subdivisions a bit more or made it more sparse just to add some rhythmic variation rather than putting out straight 4/4.

That's really what my soundcloud is for, like jotting down my ideas or uploading jams for relistening later. My bandcamp is much more polished, and I have a few tracks saved up to release all at once soon enough. Sound advice nonetheless

Really like the piano melody, the way the backing track feels jilted and dissonant in the chorus and the outro is pretty cool. Rapping wise I like your flow and tone, lyrically there's a few interesting/clever lines but I feel like the shortcomings in your verses don't really matter in this style.

Didn't really capture my attention until the beat comes in around 1:35. I was expecting a slower half time beat which makes it all the more interesting when the drums do arrive. I also think the intro feels a little drawn out but overall it works.

Listened to Would You Mind. Drums need more punch and the attempt at swing with the double kicks doesn't feel quite natural, comes off a little robotic. Assuming the drums that come in around fifty seconds aren't the only thing you added to the sample I think the middle section of this track is reasonably successful if a little repetitive. I find your additions at the beginning and end a little questionable as they further prevent this feeling like a cohesive track.
Also, I listened to a bit of the next two tracks; Odyssey and Challenge. Both of which are vastly different in mood and style both to each other and to Would You Mind, plus not as interesting imo. idk man I think you need to pick a sound and stick to it.

Everything feels so on the beat, the gap around 40 secs feels like a too short and predictable spacing. Like, I feel like it would have been more interesting for the parts where you use silence to be stretched out and allowed to breathe a bit more. imo it just feels like the track wants more swing, more bop. idk how better to put it.
