the arturia one though is used by a lot of good producers though (tom staar for one) and it can create very good pluck/bass sounds that you would use for the type of music you're making. even if you have to buy it it's worth it

only brought a CI1 soundcard to the session, so I ended up using an SM57 for the guitar amp, and an AKG 414 for the drums, placed under the ride facing the snare.
Later that night, my friend and guitarist, put another layer of guitar on the first track, otherwise it's all from the jam session.
