also after listening to the music for a bit, it's like a vision of the future of escapist ITV programming. Like a reinvention of 80s corporation worship. It's not "safe", I'll give it that, but it's got zero substance. It's what the X Factor would call "quirky" and "unique". It's actually giving me that same kinda feeling I ha when I heard "Another Girl" by Jacques Greene, ie that it's what should be the future of pop music and yet it's a future I would not participate in.
It sounds like money, and fair enough. The aesthetic just isn't aimed at me as a 25 year old male.
