A lot of people claim that this is the worst time for music because there's not a lot of money to be made anymore. But I think that's the exact reason why music is as it's best right now. Without the promise of fame and wealth a good portion of musicians are making some really solid and honest stuff because all they care about is making music and almost anyone who wants to make music can thanks to the technology of today. It's kind of like the punk or folk attitude but it's applied to all genres and styles now.
I'm really optimistic about where music is going.
