What bands have you been digging lately?
I've really been enjoying Colossamite and Polvo lately
This is my favorite math rock album of all time. So beautiful
They should release a new album later this year too

Honestly I was never the biggest fan of this. The vocals and lyrics are really weak and a little tacky, while the rest isn't anything terribly interesting
The drums are nice, though
Been getting back into pic related recently. I can't get over how fucking amazing Damon's drumming is.
Better than What Burns Never Returns.

Anybody here find that math rock is comfy as fuck? I like to just put on something by Hella or Ruins and drift off into a sea of polyrhythms and 13/7 time signatures.

Yowie are comfy :^)
Saw Tera Melos a while ago, I'm always trying to find some Nick Reinhart solo stuff or really anything that genius puts out.
been a while since i've listened to these guys until about a week ago. Still pretty rad.
i'm not super into math rock though. I do like some of TTNG's stuff, Tera Melos, twinkly emo math rock stuff, Giraffes? Giraffes!, etc.
is there a good starting math rock chart or anything?
found this a week or so ago, maybe some of you will like it

Giraffes? Giraffes! Will forever be my favorite. Here's hoping they put out a new album in the next few years.
