I ain't gonna rank em but
Pet Sounds has to be the most "impressive" I guess

Written, produced, composed 95% by one 23 year old man in '65 after hearing Rubber Soul.

Abbey Road , although I might be biased, is pretty dusty for 69

I still to this day have no idea why I antagonize the Beatles so much

No??

How can you not pick Lonerism with tracks like this:

People talk about Beatles have greater total output but those dam Beach Boys put great records out in almost every year of the 60's. People over look their gems such as 67's Wild Honey and Smiley Smile. 68's Friends. and the Beach Boys still had a few hits here and there in the 70s with the terrific Love You, and 15 Big Ones.

Beatles feel tame I guess. Even in tracks like A Day In The Life

You don't like Smiley Smile?
That shit is really off the deep end at points. I can understand not liking Wild Honey. pretty standard soul pop, but 15 Big Ones is massively overlooked. Very fresh production and pretty carefully composed.

These have nothing in common. Why do you keep posting them together?

didnt see smiley smile there yeah thats a good one

I think the non musical factors come up (even if they are not mentioned) too much when people discuss Beach Boys vs Beatles.

People appeal to the mystique of Brian Wilson, and his affairs. While people are blinded by the commercial success and cultural impact (note that) of the Beatles.
