Oh damn
you sure showed us
>They’re highbrow for the underground–huge walls of noise, abrasive beats, vicious lyrics yelled and then buried behind big, distorted synths, barely digestible but undeniably art. Right?
>They aren’t sell outs because they intentionally sabotage themselves and alienate their cultish fans, who proceed to eat it up. It’s not like anyone in music has ever utilized shock value to get attention, right? Most everything’s been done, and originality, while applauded, is sometimes less important than something being done well. So how well did Death Grips do on Bottomless Pit?

Hahahahaha, not even a pitchfork writer would be stupid enough to publish such a colossal fuck up.

Post modern abstract reviews confirmed a thing now
Know it's cliche but it sounds like he doesn't get it. Says lines like "Fuck is that a hairstyle" are weak disses but I see it as being DG's style of humor like "nasty in my taxi, you need a lift? You can sit between the back seat and my dick"
why do music critics act as if their opinion is the truth?

No it's not clichè, he literally just doesn't get it because he's retarded.
He's trying to have a different opinion than everyone else, but in so doing forming a stupid opinion.

Hence why all contrarians are stupid.
There are valid reasons for someone to not enjoy this album, subjectively. He didn't have one though. Every critic is a hack who doesnt "get it" though, that's how they became critics to begin with rather than working with their prefered medium.

i know, jack...
i hate this album but this is a really shitty review. going track by track is just a really lazy format and all he does is make haphazard comparisons to other really really cool bands he wants you to know he knows
