I have never seen an episode of MLP and have always been curious about seeing what the hype is all about. Obviously I could just go and watch the show but I was interested to see if any of you loyal fans could explain to me what got you hooked on the show, what makes it so good, etc. Thanks. Lots of Love

This fandom is one of the more extraordinary of internet phenomena. Only pokemon has it's own board, as we do, but we, of couse, produce far mnore content (and of better quality) than them, and any other fandom. The show is great (though of course, it will be slow and simplistic; it's a kid's show after all), and the community is great (dedicated as fuck)

i watch the cartoon as a pastime, the great thing is that this fandom holds my greatest interests , musical composition, drawing and animation.

I'll admit, I fapped to pone before watching it too. But even though I thought the show had a weak start, around the 7th or so episode I knew I was hooked and just couldn't stop watching.
What I love most about it is the characters, I've just never seen another show with characters this well-rounded, cute and likeable before.
