One of the most influential food critics in Canterlot for decades, Ms. Gourmand was found dead in her penthouse apartment Saturday night, shortly after leaving an unknown back alley restaurant on the city's lower east side. Gourmand's body was found in her mother-of-pearl bathtub with multiple cuts across the hooves. Police have so far ruled out foul play and attribute the cause of her death to "being a giant attention whore." She is survived by no one.

There's a restaurant here called "Famous Dave's" that serves a FUCKTON of food on a clean metal trashcan lid half the size of the table, and it's fucking amazing barbeque.

There are multiple restaurants in Disneyland where they serve their food on disposable plates and that the eating areas were outside. Two I can think of were a French-themed Deli and a Mexican-themed restaurant. They have some of the best food I've had in a long time.

It is called Marketing. And the food industry marketing is a make or break. McDonalds prides itself on Cheap Fast Food. Is it the best in the world? Heck no but it is still better than most crap on a budget.
Look at starbucks. T&W Coffee can probably outsell them in quality coffee any day but it is the drewcarry glasses wearing, always wear a beanie in summer, laptop carrying, think they are some poetic writing, college going, hipsters that pride themselves on the Mocca, frappa, cappa, dappa, chiko to go with double shot of esspresso to perk them right up and they sell it at $15 a cup when I could go to wal-mart and get a full tin and make 100 cups of maxwell house for $7...
You can have a piece of crap but if you market it well enough, you turn lead into gold.
