I did that until ponymon came out. I only know Photoshop/Illustrator because of ponies. Same goes for Ableton, Cinema 4D and After Effects. My backgrounds are always MLP related, computer and phone. My bed set is MLP and I have a dozen pony shirts. All my online handles now contain pony references. I had a lot of friends before I started watching this show and now I'm mostly a shut-in.

I'm not the worlds fittest, but I do excercise fairly regularly, and I wear tacticool shirts--- to the shooting range, or to my LGS from time-to-time.

I DM a DnD group regularly.
I base some of the setting's lore off of MLP and squeeze in subtle references. The campaign takes pace in a high-fantasy continent dominated by elves. They worship a pantheon that consists of:

I maneuvered the party up to a cove in the deep north of the continent, there they found a big ball of ice, they cracked open the ice and inside found a female elf I described as having "flowing black hair that was speckled with starry patterns that mirrored the constellations" and spoke in ye olde brokene English that still believed it was the last millennia. She demanded the party reunite her with her sister so they they could continue ruling the land.
When our cleric did a religion check to learn about the deities I described Celestia as "most often choosing to appear to mortals as a winged unicorn with a misty mane of dull pink."
Our fighter also has a unicorn mount that they found wanering the forests. It was mostly white with a very slight tinge of lavender to it. Our druid spoke to it and found out it's name was Twilight.
They still don't suspect a thing.
