Its not about her starring roles, her supporting roles in S1 was incredible. Lines like "She kind of is", her parasprite scene in swarm of the century and she was incredibly well done in the pilot.

Here's the thing about Dash: You have to watch all of the episodes which deal with her overcoming the shit inside of her to truly enjoy and like her.
I think that's why alot of people here don't like her, because most of those episodes that do her real good are from season 3 onwards, and the Faust meme has made everyone not want to watch those, especially the season 3 ones.

Maybe if it's one of "those" episodes written by bad writers. Those who are up to date with pones have no reason to dislike most characters. But for some when they once decided they hate one character there's absolutely nothing that could change it no matter how good she performs in an episode.

I kinda hate RD, but only in the episodes where she's written to be annoying and egotistical. She was great in most of her Wonderbolts episodes, especially Wonderbolts Academy.
