It is nice to see Rarity's distaste with the food, despite her being willing to eat it.
Which... is an interesting problem that Rarity's shown way back with Suited For Success. Rarity does lack confidence in her own opinion sometimes: not trusting herself to disagree with her friends even if she knew fashion; and equally enough, assuming she didn't know enough about cuisine to oppose what was the popular trend in Restaurant Row.
