I have used my Mosin at an indoor range and it wasn't that bad. With the way the booths are set up where I go, you don't really feel the pressure wave. Also indoor ranges are nice for a few reasons like:
When it's literally freezing outside.
When you want to sight in a rifle and want controlled conditions.
When the nearest outdoor range constantly treats its patrons like they're five years old and it's their first time.
When the forest service shuts down the nearest patches of national forest land because lazy ass-clowns don't fucking clean up their shit and use trees as targets because they didn't bring a fucking target stand.
I used to love shooting outdoors but with all the dumb as shit bubbas out there now I'd rather just go indoors and be flanked by 5" thick lexan sheets in the event the shooter next to me is an idiot.
