first thing id suggest is updating the rules. stuff thats banned for no real reason and not even listed in the official rules, such as sfw milky or even sfw fluffy pones, and ass worship even though its literally just a typical lewd thread thats banned solely based on its name, should be revoked.
id also suggest allowing a handful of get based and /soc/ tier threads to exist at a time, such as risk and murder threads, as well as faces of mulp and pony tupperware.

The problem with Hiro is that he's too gullible to actually do anything at all. He wants to please everyone (or so it seems) without realizing that this place is so filled with entitled fucks, that one change will help some, but make others cry out in rage.
His inability to speak and understand English fluently doesn't help either.

Fuck off m8. All that needs to be done is:
- Transparency with the mods. There are a lot of murky bans and deletions going on, not counting the whole Scruffening 2.0 where a bunch of random Generals and threads were purged, and then Roleplay Threads that weren't even touched in the purge was 'banned'. Only to allow constant shitposting to go unchecked for 3 days, when they were deleting complaint threads sometimes seconds after they were created. And then not enforcing the roleplay ban and more or less accomplish nothing. Have them be more upfront about their issues and not try to save face when one of their members goes rogue by pretending it was all according to keikaku.
- Clarify murky rules. How come I can't post a pony standing on their hindlegs without sometimes, but not always, getting banned for 'anthro'? Not to mention the random autosages that befall some threads
- Leave /trash/ as is. It's a murky compromise, but it's the best one we have so far. Mods seem unwilling to allow NSFW back and some autists here don't want porn dumps taking up 'muh precious board space'.
And
- Stop attempting to influence and change 'board culture'. In the leaked IRC logs the original Scruffy said that he wanted to 'fix /mlp/' by enforcing all these rules. Assuming he was genuine and not just saying that to convince the other mods to allow his mass banning, he's had the exact opposite effect and ending doing as much damage to /mlp/ as the Potato famine did to Ireland. Similar trend to the hastily written sticky post Scruffening 1.5 where they said they wanted to change the board's culture again. Stop trying to change shit, you're just making everything worst.
The roleplay threads and explosion of generals and Writefagging was a direct result of the Scruffening. If you hate what you've created, it's too late to fix it now. Wallow in the grave you've dug already and stop trying to make it to the center of the earth.

Nice projecting. I hate roleplay threads and I got banned for posting pictures of Normal ponies rearing up on their hind legs. My point is that the mod's randomly deciding to ban shit or being murky with the rules helps absolutely no one, and that every attempt to fix something by banning/exiling it has either done absolutely nothing, or damaged the board.
Remember how autistic and dumb all those Pokemon threads were on /v/? Good thing they got sent to /vp/! There were tons of high quality threads that were made in the precious board space those shitty threads were taking up, right?

there is nothing bad in enforcing existing rules if done right. What peeves me is that the rules are enforced without a logic, randomly. This is counterproductive and had a huge backlash in the past.
I understand that there are rules, i understand that the board is something that they give us for free, but by being honest this kind of moderation is a pain in the ass and is making real damage to this board.
