I'm making a game about ponies getting lost in the woods.

How to play:

>Press E to open inventory and assign items to the hotbar with 1-9. Press D in game to use the currently selected item.
>Use an anvil to craft items from raw materials. There is an anvil at spawn for getting started.

The eventual goal is for this to play sort of like a cross between Minecraft and Golden Sun. It will be based partly on crafting and building things to expand the town, and partly on exploring the forest and solving Golden Sun-style puzzle-based dungeons for rare items and crafting materials.
This week: various minor bugfixes in physics and graphics.

In GS all the characters in your party have spells they can use outside of combat to manipulate parts of the environment. Grow a sprout into a vine you can climb, freeze water into an ice pillar you can jump on, that sort of thing.
The puzzles in Outpost at the moment are still basically non-existent. I've thought some about what I want to add, but there's still probably 9-12 months worth of other, higher-priority work to do first.
The general idea, though, is to have some abilities that help with navigating and manipulating the puzzle. Examples:
> Unicorn: Telekinesis, flip a switch from a distance
> Unicorn: Pick Lock, bypass locked doors
> Pegasus: Dash, jump over bottomless pits
> Pegasus: Freezing Wind, freeze water/lava to make it walkable
> Earth Pony: Buck, smash rocks that are blocking a path

The server at http://outpost.mlpg.co is available all the time but runs an older version of the game.
The everfree-outpost.com server is up most weekends from 3PM Eastern on Saturday to 9PM Eastern on Sunday.
