The next panel he makes it back to Eggman to tackle him so fast Eggman can barely prepare, so, let's say 10 seconds. Going 2500 km in 10 seconds is Mach 76, over 7 times Dash's maximum
If Sonic goes all out he's terrifyingly fast, he'd win if something were on the line

Well, we don't know for certain that Mach 10 is Dash's fastest. Having said that, going all the way up to Mach 76 would be nearly DBZ levels of escalation, and it's not something I can condone without on-screen proof of it happening, of which I have none.
So on behalf of Bronies, I will concede that in a hypothetical crossover between Möbius and Equestria, Sonic would remain the fastest thing alive.

Bare in mind that, like in MLP, the canon of comics can often be questioned. I don't think Sonic has ANY game feats that come close to this page and he has never done anything like it since in the comics either. It's an impressive feat but it's hard to say whether it's actually IC for Sonic.

To that end, then, I guess I'd just say that I'd have it run like Godzilla VS King Kong, if the two comics ever crossed over.
In the Sonic comics, Sonic would win; and in the MLP comics, Rainbow Dash would win.
Although I think more ideal than even that would be a storyline that has the two cross over, try and start a race, get dragged into dealing with some scheme thought up by Robotnik and Chrysalis together, the two of them manage to stop it, they have some cheezy dialogue about how they're cool and now they can actually race, and the last page is a two-page spread of the race kicking off.

Here's the thing. Dash has never really had to use her speed in the same way Sonic does, usually she just uses it to dick around. The closest we've ever gotten to her using her speed effectively was her Sonic Rainboom, which was all the way back in S1. We don't know how much faster she is now.
To say nothing about her Super mode, which we know literally jack shit nothing about.
So yeah, Sonic is faster based purely on known feats. But again we don't know 100% one way or the other.

Yeah Worlds Unite was a incoherent repetitive mess that tried to bring in so much that it actually HURT the story. I think there was an unfortunate corporate decision to force it with all ongoing titles and with Sonic Boom and X mixed in it could have still worked I think but then everything but the kitchen sink had to be thrown in for no reason.
That said Worlds Collide is a much much better example of a great crossover, it's just so goddamned heart-felt.

I never denied my autism in the first place.
I know bringing up the MLP comics is a bit controversial, but taking them into account we have the only other true feat of speed RD has ever performed. Her Double Sonic Rainboom in her Micro comic doesn't actually say how fast she's going, but however fast it is it's enough to basically ground her for months since her wings couldn't handle the physical strain it put on her.
Going by that, Sonic can win by default just by outlasting her.

Autism aside, Sonic. Rainbow Dash just barely scraped the sound barrier. Though she has been able to do it much easier with time, nothing suggests it's past Mach 2.
Sonic in almost every incarnation his base speed has been Mach 1 and has been shown going much faster than that. Don't have any panels though.
I hate Archie Sonic but if we include him he has reached light speed in that series iirc.
