Some of the posters can be explained with her being fairly famous in amateur-ish flying competitions, even if she's not a Wonderbolt posters will be printed for local events.

I did some digging, and the best guess I can find is the baseless assumption that a pony foot is exactly as long as a human foot (it doesn't make any sense from an in-universe standpoint, but we might as well go with it for the sake of discussion) a pony is around 4' with the numbers I see.
A real-world horse is measured from it's back to the ground, for a pony this is almost 2.5 ft, and a large horse is maybe 5 ft. There's some rounding errors here but just so we know what ballpark we're in.
A large real-world horse is twice as tall, eight times as heavy, and has four times the cross-sectional muscle area ("horsepower") of a pony.
I have no clue how to find the relative speed for a large horse VS a pony, and it all breaks apart anyways because an MLP pony has a run more comparable to a canine or a feline than a horse.
Point is, anyway, it's decidedly more than half the speed of a creature twice their size. If we go with the assumption that ponies are around 4ft tall, and run as effeciently as horses, Dash would run at least 25 mph.
