You have to have a ticket in order to buy from them. So the process goes you get in line at about 3 AM to get into the convention when it opens, when it does at 7 AM you go immediately into the line to get a Hasbro ticket, where if you're lucky you get one before they run out. Then you go to the booth at your assigned time and hope they still have the items you want in stock.

If you don't have a system it's worse. Funko for example has no real system so there booth turns into a confusing mosh pit. Mattel is probably the best, since if you subscribe to their monthly thing you can pre-order online and pick up at con.
But the journey is part of the fun. Making friends with people in line, regaling each other with tales, overall I still enjoy it.

Mostly successful, but I need to get some better pegs. The pajama Twi has a slightly different purple for her skin so it looks off on everyday Twi, and also there's the part where it was attached to the jacket.
Pajama Twi's pretty neat, her ponytail's articulated, and that headband can be removed.
Waiting on my 100 pieces of gi joe weapons to arrive (yay chink shipping) its in chicago, so it should be here next week. Twilight's right leg is a bit shorter than her left is for some reason...

Combiner Wars and Titans Return still feel like Generations to me. They seem like natural extensions of the line in order to release type of characters we used to think would be impossible to get modern versions of.
Like, Bruticus in 2012 and Brainstorm in 2014 were one-offs, and if they hadn't thought to bring the gimmicks into the whole line we wouldn't be getting the classic combiner teams or Headmasters.
