I feel like you've replaced Aria with Sour Sweet. She's supposed to speak almost exclusively in a bipolar manner. For example, instead of taking smug pride in her grades she should had said "I just read a lot! You should try it some time".
Sonata doesn't seem characteristically airheaded/simplistic/childish either. Her response to Sour should had been either ignorant of Sour's implications ("Smart dads have smart daughters.
