You are in the army and just pulled your gun. Look at these ponies. Look at their surprise, their ignorance to the danger you are. Could you do it? Could you kill them in cold blood? Could you murder creatures that could have been your friends, maybe even loved you under other circumstances?

Also, I found out that celestia's sun is fucking tiny. As when rarity's wings given to her by twilight burnt at the high altitude of cloudsdale, that would mean that the sun had to be eather EXTREMELY close, or hot as fucking balls, at least twice as hot as our sun, meaning that it would blind you if you looked at it for a single second. The first option is far more logical, and would not be as much a thread.

The higher an altitude you are in, the colder it gets, because of the lack of oxygen. You would need to get far closer than a few miles from Earth to the sun for ignition to happen, like, a few hundred THOUSAND miles closer. Celestia's sun would have to be about the size of the planet, far closer than our sun, (like, about as far from us as Mars or so) and not as hot. And seeing as this is the ONLY advantage the ponies have, (the EoH only work on evil) and the US Army would study all aspects of the ponied before attacking, they could easily come up with a way to protect from this. Also, when the fuck has celestia EVER shown she was capable to dealing human weaponry-esky (such as missiles and rockets) damage to enemies?
