In all honesty, probably build a hut in the Everfree.
Close enough to town to still socialize and trade but I think living in such a controlled environment as a human may ware on me. Everfree is the closest I'm going to get to an earth-like forest (timberwolves, manticors, and other monster hazards aside).
Most people don't realize how different the general environment of Equestria is.

Honestly, Ponyville. The scenery is just too similar to my hometown, what with the main street shops, the house streets, the nearby woods, and more. It doesn't have a library though, while Ponyville does. And I like libraries.
Oh, also, there's the fact that I have a similar mindset to ponies in general (dislike eating meat, love animals to the degree I wouldn't hurt one unless it was attacking, secretly feel like I'm going to snap one day).
