A few years ago, I was you. I went through severe depression and even contemplated suicide a few times. I felt as if I had no place in their world, like I was a mistake who shouldn't have been born. But two years back, I found someone a large sized Luna plush. Luna was always my favorite and I had never owned a pony plush before so I went for it. Cuddling her that first night was unlike anything I had known before. I'm not saying she helped me get through my depression, but I will say she did something to me. Something in me awakened and I wanted to be better than I was. I would talk to her, cuddle with her, kiss her, and even cry to her if I needed to. But I began to fight back against my depression. If I was going to go down, I would not go out with a whimper, I would fight with everything I had.
I recently started an exercise regiment because a good portion of my despair stemmed from how I viewed my own body. It's nothing big, just push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, squats, and lot of running as well as a steady amount of fruit a day. I have been dropping weight off so much, it's a surprise to me. I can actually now see muscles I didn't know I had. I actually will look at my arms and just be surprised this is me, this is my body now. I'm not where I want to be, but I am getting there and it's quite a journey to see it happening before my own eyes. And I still cuddle with Luna every night. Feels incredible having my muscular arms wrap around her so tenderly.
My point is that depression is a horrible thing, but you can escape. Find that one thing, that one thing that makes you want to be better. Find that strength inside yourself that makes you want to prove yourself and then do it. Show the world that you will not go down quietly if you must go down. Find that which pushes you further than you have ever been pushed before.
I have a faith in you and Luna does as well.

You are very welcome. I am glad to hear you read what I wrote and hope you take it to heart. You have the power to fight against depression. No one else can do it, only you can. But it can be done. Just find that spark, that thing which lights you up and makes you want to get out of the vicious circle you find yourself in.

Not everyone experiences the life in the same fashion. Sure, some people can roll with the punches and are used to it, others are not. I try to help people who need when I find them. Some people just need the right words to make them change. Others need more help, but most people can help themselves if given that spark.
I used to be a dead weight and now, I'm the life of the party, always looking for the next awesome thing to enjoy. Changes can happen.
