He's far above the world.

>>26072674
Some old as musician.
Some of his stuff is pretty good.

>>26072626
>implying anyone actually cares that much about bowie
Seriously, if this shit made you cry, then grow a pair. This won't effect your life at all. People die all the time.
Ask him yourself. He just moved into town yesterday.

He was many things. Colt-cuddler, mare-lover, a musical chameleon who worked with the greatest of multiple generations as well as his own work. He did some acting, too. And in the end, he wrote an album reflecting on his own end and sang it to the world, his audience unknowing it was the final work.
And then he died, leaving an ocean of eclectic work behind him. I think we'll start you off with Labyrinth and save Blackstar for last, though. Bowie's music should never fail to give an inquisitive unicorn plenty of questions to ask when you listen to it.

Is it appropriately shiny and chrome?

>Tell me, what do you know about David Bowie?
No one cared who he was until he put on the mask. Also, a lot of people who didn't listen to his music pretended to care when he died so they'd fit in and look cool on social media.

Sweetie Belle levitated the cereal spoon to her mouth. "I hope Mom and Dad are having a good time in Haywaii."
When Rarity didn't respond, she looked up. Her older sister was staring at the newspaper, an odd expression of shock on her face. "What's the matter, Rarity?"
Rarity closed her mouth and swallowed dryly. "Stardust has passed on."
"Who's Stardust?" asked Sweetie, furrowing her brow.
Rarity looked at her, incredulous. And then, her expression softened. "My designs have been called over-the-top, and far too glamorous for reasonable ponies. Long before your time, it was Stardust who showed ponies how magnificent over-the-top could be. Without him, there would have been no Michael Jackhoof, no Sapphire Shores. Or at least, they wouldn't shine so bright and uniquely."
"Oh?"
"Yes, Sweetie Belle. Remember my cutie mark tale? When I saw that geode split open before me, I knew I could make ponies as glamorous as Stardust himself! Oh, I wish I could have designed for him, just once." She sighed. "Fly on, strange pony. Only you and the constellations know your destination."

Of all the notable humans throughout history, Bowie is who you ask me about? He made OK music, dressed flamboyantly. Now go away.
>>26072626
who?
>>26072626
David Bowie-sensei trained ninja's, and was the most awesome jonin of all. He always tried to hide his identity for some reason.
Also he used to make music, apperently...
