Throwing out an idea or advocating a change is like hoisting a flag to see who salutes. If you put your trip behind that, you can't be sure if people are saluting the idea or the trip. It shouldn't matter to anyone what I or the other managers want when it comes to roster changes, music, or anything else. Our job is to figure out what the board wants, not vice versa. There are certain things I want and others I don't, definitely, but I'm not about to try and sway things by rallying people in one direction or another.
