Personally I think the episode had a great moral and cartoon physics aside did a lot for Pinkie. I enjoyed the yaks. They made sense when you took the episode as a whole.
I think it's Equestria Games tier of "Great episode everyone hates for some reason despite being great for the main character of it."
Personally I'd probably put it in my top ten of the season.

CMC getting their cutie marks aside it was a very meh episode, Diamond Tiara's redemption was poorly justified and barely had any build up (unlike with Silver Spoon where we had multiple examples) and the rest was just really forgettable
