If you don't like a character and never will, why even bother watching episodes with them as main characters?

Maybe it's just because my bully in elementary school was someone exactly like Babs and the "bullies totally are never people with troubles themselves!11!" complaints have completely passed over me but I liked Babs.
I find it incredibly hard to believe that literally no one but me had a bully that was fucked up, nor did that no one later actually become a bully themselves.
