There's a Daring Do episode in S6. If they didn't give Berrow, the person who wrote three 200 page Daring Do books that had an overarching plot and a glossary of terms in the back the Daring Do episode, it will be a travesty.

We can't fix it. The remaining lifespan of the show will go through the following stages:
1.) More and more episodes will be non-Mane 6-oriented, owing to the expanding cast of supporting characters
1b.) An EQG spinoff starring Shim may or may not be in the offing
2.) The movie will come out to decent acclaim in 2017
3.) Hasbro will begin crafting its strategies for G5, attempting to capture the same magic of G4 but without the fantastic lightning-in-a-bottle effect given by G4's fairly great staff

From what I've read of her books, Berrow basically ignores it. She usually has one or two comments about how "Man, this would make a good book!" but the idea is that you're reading the book that she wrote as AK Yearling.
I'll have to check again but she's way more interested in the actual adventuring part of Daring Do than the fact that she's an actual pony.
If Berrow wrote a Daring Do episode it probably wouldn't even show her disguise or talk about it being made into a book at all.

We need this. Some of Faust's ideas make sense including ponies having problems from outsourcing their weather control to other countries.
I'm tired of macguffins and friendship fables that sometimes feel like bullshit in real life.
I'm also tired of Hasbro micromanaging everything. They're the whole reason why this show lacks potential.
Then again, they're corporate suits that abuse third world countries for cheap labor, have a merchandising show that shills its products like it's Big Brother, and have both a fanbase(bronies) and main audience(girl toddlers) who lack the real life experience to even desire anything better.
It's clear that the writers had some talent. But it's being diluted with more new writers that don't even be arsed to put a twist to [kids cartoon show generic plot #27], or having the ponies act more like a sitcom and less like a pseudo fantasy-urban hodgepodge.
I feel like I got suckered into liking this show by /b/ and they're having a laugh at my expense. It was clear that Hasbro HAD to reinvent the show out of necessity, and anything of quality was pushed aside for the marketing team to pillage and rape.
