You realize that genetics, ESPECIALLY in fictional horse land, would reasonably dictate that you could have just about any combination of traits in offspring that you probably would think wouldn't be possible. Depending of course on how their genetics even works. But have you thought for even a second that the offspring of two ponies with pink and blond hair might NOT have pink and/or blond hair? Sure some traits will be passed along, but you can get genes that are recessive and aren't present in either of your parents in real life and we have maybe a handful of variations on every physical trait. Somehow you guys always give ponies LESS options than real life.

Depending of course on how their personality traits even work together. But have you thought for a even a puny second that the resulting chemistry of two ponies with girly and tomboyish traits might NOT have girly/tomboy interactions? Sure some traits will dominate and overshadow the other, but you can get traits that are recessive and aren't present in either of your two characters which you ship. Relationships between two or more characters should result in them discovering new personality traits about themselves by experiencing new conflicting traits, points of view, experiences and developing said character's personality through another character. Somehow you unimaginative fuckups always, but 100% always manage to give your characters less options than in real life. You dumb bastards.
