There really isn't much to like about her. She's the Mary Sue of performers. Marble Pie at least has character traits that set her apart from others and make her feel unique. Rara can sing and is generous and famous and perfect with no flaws at all except for that incredibly brief moment of low confidence that she overcame in minutes. She just feels unrealistic, and she has a special snowflake cutie mark that it fucking glows when she sings. No one else in the show has ever had a dynamic cutie mark and it strikes me as an OC quality.

Not that Anon, but she's incredibly naive and can't tell when the wool's been pulled over her eyes. If it weren't for her manager building her image, she likely never would have gotten as big as she did. Also, the fact that she let it get to the point it was at hints at other possible flaws. She was either insecure about her abilities and developed a strong dependency on Svengallop, or was easily manipulated. There's a bit of evidence for both. I agree, she could have been much better written, and could have used more fleshing out, but she's not a mary-sue
