Started several years ago after someone attempted carjacking me after I got off work. I got away but realized if I were to get mugged I was to small and sickly to defend myself. That next week I started a routine and started hitting the gym then started boxing. Did wonders for my health, helped my depression, gave me more confidence, I felt like I was achieving something.

I tried lifting about 5 years ago because people told me it would improve my confidence and help with depressive thoughts.
Tried it for about 6 months, didn't help with the depressive thoughts, and my confidence stayed just as low as ever. Plus, I felt miserable every moment I did the exercises.
Haven't done any lifting since.

There's no way in hell you'd ever be able to keep up with them, unless you're an olympic sprinter. Even then, you'd only be able to keep up with them for short bursts of time.

I don't think that they are sprinting (galloping), when they are running along eachother. So it's a speed trained human is able to keep up with perfectly. Also, on any adventures they take - they will be the ones to keep up with you.
Also everything I said was applied mainly to horses, human has even higher advantages over ponies, especially little ones.
