Attribute theft is my favorite growth method.
In my head magic is unable to sustain permanent growth without an incredible constant stream of magic, so much so that most growth spells can only last an hour tops due to the magical strain of creating matter from nothing.
That's where attribute theft comes in, instead of creating matter from nothing, they're taking it from a preexisting source (i,e,height, breasts, ass, ect)

Well, if the story continued then it would definitely get lewder since Dinky would be growing and swelling into a stacked young woman with a rapidly blossoming sexuality.
And since growing is even more effective when a girl bundles with a boy that she has genuine affection for, Dinky would be getting quite large indeed.
But a large part of it would also be exploring her mental development. As she goes from a shy little girl to a big, overly endowed babe she would have to deal with a lot of input, both from her own body and from all those around her.
Her mom would be there to guide her of course, but there would also be all the grown ups in Ponyville to deal with.
Grown men would start looking at her differently and grown women would start treating her differently too.
A big (no pun intended) part of her transformation would be learning how to deal with adult women, especially when they start inviting her to partake in grown-up society.
And of course there would be dear Pipsqueak. As she gets bigger and he becomes more and more toylike, will she be able to hold herself back from really giving him the 'cuddles' he deserves? Especially when her parents seem to approve of them dating?

Kinda reminds me of an idea that was floated last thread: Rarity drinks a beautification serum intended for strippers that ends up making her outgrow whatever she's wearing.
If she's all jacked up on Manifestation magic she could easily get caught in a loop of conjuring a fabulous outfit, "recruiting" someone to fit it, deciding it doesn't do her subject's new stature and making something even larger and more extravagant.
Either way, it would make for a hell of a show. I bet that even after she's released from the magical grip, she'd be reluctant to "ruin" her creations by shrinking them down to size.The real defining moment would be when she watches a model outgrow her outfit and realizes that when it comes to clothing giant women, less is more. Anyway with all the Nyx posting that has been going on on the board, I thought I would repost this idea I had elsewhere.
For those of you who don't know, Nyx is an OC from the fan fic Past Sins.
She is an alicorn filly that is essentially a cast off fragment of Nightmare Moon.
In the story there is a part where she is given back all of Nightmare Moon's scattered power and it causes her to grow into her adult, Nightmare self.
Anyway, I would love there to be a drawn adaptations of a young, humanized Nyx getting all her nightmare power back and then suddenly growing and maturing into a super stacked amazon queen.
Her clothes burst off her burgeoning body as she attains her full size.
Careless of her nudity she stands proudly before the stunned citizens of Ponyville, her regal body on proud display as she exhibits the arrogance that comes from her regained Nightmare persona.
When her cultist followers present the shattered fragments of her armor that were left from her previous defeat at the Everfree ruins, she delights and uses her magic to turn them into a new suit — one that barely clothes her glorious body.

If you're in the mood to talk about huge humanized fanfiction spin-offs, I'd like to suggest The Great Alicorn Hunt. The idea is that instead of Twilight becoming an alicorn alone, all of the M6 ascend and are tasked to go out and find more potentials. Long story short: there's a lot of princessly adventures.
