Be honest /mlp/.

Is anybody going to even watch our team in this tournament since it's not an invitational?

There was a lot of talk on /vg/ about a champions league in the past, but only in the form of generals from other boards.

This is just bringing in the national teams (boards) into that format.

Of course I'm fucking watching it. Do you think I'm some sort of casual?
>>
>>25573438
If I'm being honest then I'd say that people here will watch as long as you make a thread for it, but it'll likely only be people who see the thread.

All 60 teams are split into four divisions of 15.

Division Tottori (anime): /mlp/, /h/, /u/, /e/, /cm/, /cgl/, /d/, /m/, /a/, /toy/, /jp/, /c/, /vp/, /w/, /y/
Division Jenkey (creativity): /g/, /ck/, /lit/, /mu/, /f/, /gd/, /i/, /wg/, /sci/, /po/, /3/, /wsg/, /t/, /diy/, /ic/
Division GermanBro (interests): /tg/, /asp/, /tv/, /vr/, /fit/, /o/, /an/, /n/, /k/, /co/, /sp/, /vg/, /v/, /biz/, /fa/
Division Dragonfag (other): [s4s], /b/, /s/, /hr/, /int/, /out/, /soc/, /pol/, /r9k/, /x/, /trv/, /lgbt/, /gif/, /adv/, /hm/

In a calendar year, each team earns points every game based on if they win/draw/lose, how many they score, how many they concede, etc:

Win: 3
Win on BENULDIES: 2
Draw: 1
Loss on BENULDIES: 1
Loss: 0.2
Goal scored: 0.4
Goal conceded: -0.4
Elite multiplier: 2
Babby multiplier: 0.5

The value is multiplied by ten in the end so that all numbers are whole numbers. Let's say /myteam/ beats /yourteam/ 4-2 in an elite cup. That's 3 for a win, 1.6 for goals and -0.8 for conceded goals. In total, that's 3.8. Multiply by 2 for an elite cup and that's 7.6. Multiply by ten for the end value: 76.

The points are tallied within the calendar year to determine the 16 best teams of the year. The tally for the 2015-16 edition, the inaugural edition, started from the 2015 Winter Cup and ended at the 2015 Autumn Babby Cup. The top 3 teams in each division automatically gain a berth into the Champions League. The teams that finish fourth and fifth are randomly drawn into four single-leg qualifying matches to determine who completes the 16 team group stage.

The four pots represent the divisions. Pot 1 is designated as the division which scores the most points in total, Pot 4 is the division with the lowest total. Four groups of four are drawn with one team from each division. Each team plays each other twice, six games in total. Instead of being done over one/two weekends, one round is played every week or two. The quarter-finals and semi-finals are played over two legs each, and the final is a single-leg match played between Summer and Autumn.

The Champions League is different from the cup like this: There is NO LIVE MANAGING. Nightly exports are allowed. The cup might switch between PES versions mid-cup, too.

The schedule for the Champions League runs like this:

Qualifiers: 1 week after Autumn
Round 1: 3/4 weeks after Autumn
Round 2: 4/5 weeks after Autumn
Round 3: 2/3 weeks after Winter
Round 4: 3/4 weeks after Winter
Round 5: 3/4 weeks before Spring
Round 6: 2/3 weeks before Spring
Quarter Finals (both legs): 3/4 weeks after Spring
Semi Finals (both legs): 4/5 weeks after Spring
Final: 2/3 weeks after Summer

>not an Invitational
But it is. It's simply not on the Invitational page right now because nobody put it there yet.
>>
>>25573671
No. Depending on what PAVAL decides, maybe subs. But no livemanaging is normal for Invitationals since livemanaging significantly increases the strain on the streamer. And it takes more time.

Besides your memeing, PAVAL is doing this himself, so nobody but him will have access to his email account or whatever he uses for nightly exports unless he shares it with someone. And he definitely won't be getting access to the 4CCC's email account.
