I don't. I feel like I lost the spark it had. I can't tell what it is, whether the show is declining in quality, or newfags who think the show is literally the greatest thing ever and any attempt to say anything like "Wow I'm getting tired of this" gets responses like, well, >>25559310 I'll probably get a couple too. Honestly, I think if you feel that way too, it's probably a mix of things.

This is starting to bum me out a bit. Mixed in above, it's like so many people have rebuilt the mentality of the show is still the greatest thing ever made, period. When even in the beginning, it wasn't. And it's people like this who want to see "lore" and "world-building" which the show never was in the first place. It was about cute horses doing cute horse things. But now people just want DBZ fights. And these people just act, well, stupid. They act like Hasbro is this evil jewish corporate monster, and act like spoiled children to them.
And I feel like the episodes themselves don't help. Yes you have fantastic episodes still, even in S5, but then you also have really horrible episodes. It doesn't really balance out well. But people don't listen to reason anymore, it's like they want a safe space or something.
You want my advice? Take a long break from the show, it's what I'm going to do. I'm hoping that when I get back to it I'll probably feel more interested in it than now.

I still like season 1. Sure, it wasn't as intense as the latest season, but it doesn't have to be. I still have every bit of affection for the show that I've ever had, in all honesty. I think the decline in quality really just boils down to opinion.

What I don't get about this is that watching the current season, it's really NOT that much more adventurous than S1, like yeah they go to different locations a bit more but I really would not call something like Made in Manehattan or Canterlot Boutique an over the top episode.
